We don't know what extreme weather we'll experience tomorrow. Knowing your neighbors is a good way to help prepare for emergencies that will be more frequent with climate change. Day for Tomorrow is for people with and without disabilities to get to know each other so we are prepared for the climate crisis. If we know our neighbors and which ones have access, functional or other needs, we will be more able to help each other. You can also have an educational event in your community, have a no drive day or hours when you turn off the electricity, or consider not eating meat for a day. You can also have a walk.
Day for Tomorrow 2020 is October 4th. Let's let the world know we're all in this together by planning to observe it and be prepared when extreme weather hits. Use the link below for planning ideas.
